The apartment complex Martinskloster/Haus am Baum is located on the banks of the Moselle near the Trier University of Applied Sciences and has 185 rooms.
On the monastery grounds, the Haus am Baum residential complex is being built parallel to the renovation of the historical monastery. The complex, built in wood-hybrid construction, comprises 110 barrier-free apartments, of which 12 are equipped for the disabled. The first move is planned for the current summer semester 2022.
Only students with a residence permit are entitled to live in this residence complex.
Due to its central location in the middle of the city, the facility is suitable for students of the Trier University of Applied Sciences as well as for those who prefer to be close to the city, because from here all the shopping and leisure facilities of the inner city can be reached very quickly.
The courtyard of the residential complex with its imposing blood beech and the cozy barbecue area offers the residents an oasis of peace and relaxation in the midst of the city’s hustle and bustle.
